Sebastian Vettel's dominant victory around the Korean International Circuit allowed him to move into the lead of the championship, but Fernando Alonso finished on the podium and seems determined not to let the Red Bull driver get too far away from him. The only other movement this week came from Nico Hülkenberg, who moves forward two places.

Korean GP 2012: Vettel wins to seize championship lead from Alonso




(Reuters) - World champion Sebastian Vettel won the Korean Grand Prix in a Red Bull one-two finish on Sunday to take the overall Formula One lead from Ferrari's Fernando Alonso with four races remaining.

Vettel's third win in a row, fourth of the season and 25th of his career, left him on 215 points with third-placed Alonso now on 209.

Fernando Alonso's pre-race lead over reigning champion Sebastian Vettel, chalking up his second win in a row and third of the season, was cut to four points from 29 with the Spaniard in danger of falling behind in South Korea next weekend.
