The first corner carnage that happened on Sunday at Spa is a cruel reminder of the dangers involved in the powerful open-wheel circuit racing cars. It was triggered by Romain Grosjean, who moved over on Lewis Hamilton and was catapulted over Fernando Alonso and Sergio Perez causing the retirement of all four cars.
